We collect limited information needed to operate the game. When you play:

• Personal-best time is stored in your browser using localStorage. It is not synchronized to an account or sent to our server as a personal-best record.
• Game sessions and guesses are sent to our server for validation. We temporarily store a random game ID, normalized guess text, matched Wikidata or local entity key, request ID, progress, and timing data. Sessions expire after 24 hours and are removed during subsequent cleanup activity.
• Completed-run data includes the random game ID, duration, game version, completion time, and integrity classification. It is not connected to a user account.
• Abuse-prevention data uses a keyed hash of the network address supplied by our hosting proxy. The application does not store the raw address in its game database. Rate-limit buckets become eligible for cleanup after ten minutes and are removed during subsequent activity.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate and maintain the game
• Verify guesses against Wikidata in real time
• Improve the Service based on usage patterns
• Respond to your inquiries when you contact us

3. Data Storage and Security

We do not maintain user accounts. Temporary game-session data is deleted after expiration, while anonymous completed-run records may be retained to evaluate aggregate performance. Your locally stored personal best can be removed by clearing this site's browser data. We implement reasonable security measures to protect transmitted and stored data.

4. Third-Party Services

Our game uses the following third-party services:

• Wikidata — we query the public Wikidata API to verify name submissions. No personal data is shared with Wikidata.
• Vercel — our hosting provider may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) as part of normal operations.

5. Cookies

We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. The game uses localStorage for saving your personal-best time, which stays on your device as a browser-only record.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you. Most application records are anonymous and keyed only by random or short-lived identifiers, so we may not be able to associate them with an individual. Browser data can be cleared at any time.
