By accessing or using Name 100 Women ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Name 100 Women is a free browser-based game where players attempt to name 100 real women. The game verifies submissions against the public Wikidata API. The Service is provided for entertainment and educational purposes.
3. User Conduct
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- Submit offensive, abusive, or inappropriate names
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or damage the Service
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the game
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
4. Intellectual Property
The Name 100 Women name, logo, and game design are our intellectual property. The game content and code are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. Wikidata data used in the Service is used in accordance with the CC0 license.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that all name verifications will be accurate — some notable women may not yet be in Wikidata.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the Service.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on the public Wikidata API, which is operated independently by the Wikimedia Foundation. We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of Wikidata data.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
